So... Life Has Been CRAZY!

So... Life has been CRAZY! W can’t believe how fast this Spring is going already… Last week was crazy between Tiff's BIG event at work, Mark’s interviews for a job PROMOTION, and Cooper’s 9 MONTH doctor’s appointment!

Tiff's BIG event went great… We had Friday off where we caught up on house work, ran errands, and enjoyed a few minutes of rest before letting Cooper has an INDOOR POOL PARTY!

Mark got the PROMOTION… he had 2 interviews in the beginning of last week to go for a Facilities Supervisor job at the Sports Center (now known as the River’s Edge) that the City of Davenport took over. Mark’s old title was Facilities Programmer… he has jumped up a couple of levels to be a Supervisor along with 2 other people of this big Sports Center (Ice Rink, Soccer Arena, etc). We are VERY excited, and needless to say- we are MOST excited about the nice big pay increase! Haha! Mark will be working a few more hours here and there and some weekends, however, it will all be worth it in the end… especially when we are going to start trying for another baby in June! We know you all think we are crazy for having 2 babies so close in age… but we are excited to give Cooper a brother or sister! Wish us luck!

Cooper’s 9 MONTH Appointment went great. No shots- always a plus! He weighs 22 lbs (60%) and he is 28 ¼ inches tall (50%). As Dr. Omar always points out- he has a HUGE head with lots of brains (97%- in fact ;-). Dr. Omar said that Cooper had a pretty rough winter with lots of colds and sickness, however, he hopes that the worst is over and he has built up his immune system pretty good. Cooper still only has his two bottom teeth. He is starting to crawl all over the place… a blessing and a curse! He is standing on his own with the help of something sturdy, and he LOVES to dance to any song that is playing… especially if you sing Lady GaGa to him! Haha! Cooper LOVES sleeping with his BUTT in the air... still sleeping through the night (8pm-7am)- WHAT A BLESSING!

We spend most of our evenings either playing soccer, playing softball, or just hanging out at the house enjoying the nicer weather that we have been receiving up here in Iowa....

I am not sure when we will get to see everyone again… we are headed to NC for Memorial Day weekend. Please mark your Calendars for July 16th-18th weekend as we will be having Cooper’s 1st Birthday Party in the Quad Cities. Let us know if you can make it!
