Memeorial Day Weekend with the Cousins!

Another weekend back to DBQ to celebrate cousin Ben and cousin Luci's Birthday... the day was full of slip-n-sliding and pinata bashing!  It was Kennedy's first time down the slip-n-slide... he wasn't too sure of it, but he didn't cry for too long so he must have liked it a little.  Lord knows Cooper couldn't get enough of it!  Even Daddy joined in on the fun by taking a turn or two in between tossing all the kids down as fast as he could :-).

Mother's Day Weekend in DBQ!

It was just Mommy and the boys this weekend because Daddy had to head to Georgia for Grandma Marshall's funeral so Mommy packed them up and took them to DBQ to celebrate Mother's Day with Grammie and Papa Kennedy.  It was an amazing weekend with a fun ride to the top of Grammie and Papa's property to check out the scenery... the final baby horse was born so we got to spend some time watching Grammie and Papa work with all three babies (Cooper was amazed by the whole thing).  Cooper ran around the horse arena while Mommy was taking pictures of the horses and came back with dirty on every inch of his body!  Papa said he looked like a "Hillbilly" so he grabbed his bango and we took a picture so everyone could get the full affect :-).  We headed out to Bernard to Grammie and Papa's friends (The Moorehead's) to watch a mini rodeo... Cooper even got to play "farm" with some cowboy kids (he thought that was pretty cool).  Our trip ended with a quick visit to Great Grannie's to tell her Happy Mother's Day as well... Special thanks to Grammie and Papa Kennedy for helping Mommy out with the boys while Daddy was gone!
