Kennedy's First Thanksgiving

We had an amazing Thanksgiving with the Kennedy Family back in Dubuque, IA.  It was Kennedy's first Thanksgiving... and although he couldn't enjoy Grammie Kennedy's AMAZING cooking, he had lots of laughs with his VERY entertaining cousins.  Auntie Jacque took some fun pictures of the Hamilton Family while we were all dressed up for the day... Kennedy's 4 Month Doctor's Appointment!

Kennedy had his 4 Month Doctor's appointment on Monday, October 31st, 2011. He was weighed, measured, and given a few shots. He didn't mind getting weighed (18 lbs. 6 ozs. big- 97%) and measured (27 3/4" long- 100%+ and his head measured 75%)  It seems as if Kennedy might be Cooper's BIG little brother... Kennedy is as long as Cooper was at 9 months and weighs as much as he did at 6 months!  The shots were not his favorite part of the doctor appointment!  Mommy did much better this time, though... with already going through shots for the past two years with Cooper- Mommy has realized that babies only cry for 3 seconds, Mommy loves on baby, and everything ends up being okay!  Doctor Omar said that Kennedy looks great and encouraged us to try some cereal.  Cooper was a huge help as he attempted to teach Kennedy how to open his month by yelling as loud as he could, "Open your mouth, BABY!"
