Cooper's 1 Year Doctor's Appointment!

Cooper’s ONE YEAR Appointment went great. Lots of SHOTS- he has been to the doctor so many times now(multiple ear infections) that we walk by nurses that have given him shots in the past and he instantly starts to CRY!! He weighs 24.5 lbs (70%) and he is 30.5 inches tall (60%). As Dr. Omar always points out- he has a HUGE head with lots of brains (98%- in fact ;-). Dr. Omar said that Cooper had a pretty rough winter with lots of colds and sickness, so with that said- Dr. Omar requested that we take Cooper to an ENT to see if he needs TUBES!! It sounded scary at first (it's considered surgery), but if it makes Cooper feel better- we are GAME! Cooper now has 8 teeth TOTAL- 4 on the bottom and 4 on top... we are just getting used to the adjustment of looking at our baby with TEETH!! Haha!! He is starting to stand up on his own without having to use something to pull himself up!! Still crawling all over the place and getting into EVERYTHING. He loves to dance, sing into his microphone he got for his Birthday, and giggle at his Daddy's funny faces and noises. Cooper still LOVES sleeping with his BUTT in the air... still sleeping through the night (8pm-8am)- WHAT A BLESSING! We know... we know... God help us on the next one!! HAHA!! All and all- we cannot believe that this past year flew by as fast as it did and our baby is now a TODDLER!!

Cooper's 1st Birthday Party!

Cooper was BLESSED with a big 1st Birthday Party where all of his family and friends came over to his new home to celebrate!! He had a SPOUNGE BOB SQUARE PANTS Theme with two Baby Pools and a Slip and Slide for all of his friends have some fun in the water on a hot, July day! Cooper was not too sure of the Birthday Cake at first, but once he had his first taste of pure sugar frosting- he hasn't been the same since!! A special thanks to all of Cooper's family and friends for making the day extra special!!

Cooper's New House!

WE MOVED!! It's been a crazy start to the summer!! We sold our home 6 days after putting it on the Market so we were on the hunt for a new home!! After a couple of weeks of searching, we found the perfect home in Davenport, IA. The new home is a little bigger and a lot closer to work for both of us!! The minute we moved into the home we began making it our own with A LOT of renovations. There are 4 different levels to the home! Cooper LOVES chasing his Daddy around the Kitchen, Dining Room, and Living Room!

We took Cooper to the Public Pool to enjoy a hot, summer day!! He LOVED the water- he cried when we got out- not surprising considering he does the same when we get him out of the bath tub... HAHA!!
