Baby Showers!

Mark and I are learning quickly just how great our family and friends really are! We are being blessed with 2 Baby Showers being thrown for us in Iowa and North Carolina. Here are the details so far:

North Carolina "Baby Party"
May 22nd, 2009

A fun party thrown by my girlfriend's, Mandy and Trisha! Boys and girls are welcome- just hanging out all night celebrating Baby Hami with great friends!

Iowa "Baby Shower"
May 30th or 31st (still to be determined)

The Raymond's Home or The Kennedy's Home (still to be determined)
Dubuque, IA
A fun Baby Shower thrown by my Mom's best friend, Pam Raymond. Detailed will be determined soon and I will keep everyone posted!

28 Week Doctor's Appointment!

So we had our 28 Week Doctor's Appointment on Friday. Everything looks great! I am measuring on time for the most part (29 weeks). Baby's heart beat is 150. I start going to my Doctor's Appointment every 2 weeks now! Can you believe I only have 12 weeks to go?! We are getting pretty excited to say the least. We bought the crib mattress and some bedding with the gift certificate we got from some good friends. I will take some pictures of the Nursery soon and post them for everyone to enjoy! My next Doctor's Appointment is May 8th at 9am... We will keep you posted!!

We are Registered!

We are registered at Target! Thanks to my lovely sister, Gina, who helped us pick out all of the things that are going to help us raise Baby Hami- we are successfully registered! My Mom's friend, Pam, is going to throw us a baby shower (date is still being determined) in Dubuque... I will keep you posted on the date as soon as it is set! Our friends, The Gladys', are going to put together a small shower in Asheville, NC when we come to visit on May 22nd, 2009 (Friday Night). I will keep everyone posted on details through email!

26 Weeks

It's hard to believe that 3 years ago my lovely husband, Mark, asked me to marry him over Easter Weekend! Who would have thought that I would be happily pregnant 3 years later?! So... I am 26 weeks pregnant this week and feeling pretty good! I feel like I am growing bigger and bigger everyday! I had a great trip to Chicago this past weekend with my Sisters and my Mom where we did a ton of shopping, saw the show "Rent", and ate tons of amazing food. I wasn't too excited about shopping because I thought there would be only stores with skinny people clothes, however, I found some great deals on Maternity clothes! My next doctor's appointment in April 24th at 8:15am so I will post my next update then! Happy Easter!
